Greyfriars lies in the centre of Dunwich village which is by the sea, 5 miles east of the A12 in Suffolk. From the south, turn off the A12 at Yoxford, and follow the signs to Dunwich through Westleton village. From the north, turn off the A12 at Blythburgh on the B1125 and after 1 mile turn left, signed Dunwich.
The site is crossed by public footpaths, including the Suffolk Coast Path and is always open.
